Amazing to be in Adelaide attending the 17th hashtag#AustralianSpaceForum, organised by The Andy Thomas Space Foundation, which had a special significance this year with the Indian delegation led by Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe) esteemed officials Dr. Vinod Kumar, FIE, FIETE and SHASHANK SAXENA. The delegation included representatives from TakeMe2Space, Dhruva Space, Bellatrix Aerospace, XDLINX Labs, mistEO, OrbitAID Aerospace and Skyroot Aerospace.

The India-Australia relationship in the space sector is particularly important and QL Space’s journey to date has been profoundly supported by the Indian space community, IN-SPACe and ISRO – Indian Space Research Organization. This support has been instrumental in our progress and success.

Later this year, I’ll be presenting a paper at the International Astronautical Federation’s

International Astronautical Congress (hashtag#IAC24) in Milan, focusing on the India-Australia relationship in the space sector. My paper, “India-Australian Collaborations in Accelerating Space Entrepreneurship” will explore how India’s established space sector, with its significant advancements in space technology, offers a repository of knowledge and experience for Australia’s emerging space ecosystem. How collaboration between our two nations facilitates the sharing of expertise, stimulates economic opportunities, and drives innovation in both countries.
