We are extremely proud of our colleague Ariane Platell, who presented two impactful papers at this year’s 75th hashtag#IAC2024.! Her work speaks about QL Space’s commitment to supporting emerging space ecosystems and building a more inclusive, collaborative industry in this sector.

We would like to thank the Chairpersons of both symposiums — Susana Fornies and 📡🚀🌒Sam Peterson, Yves Gerard and Philip Davies FRAeS for giving Ariane the opportunity to present and showcase her work at the prestigious forum such as hashtag#IAC2024.

In her first paper, “Catalysing Space Entrepreneurship: An India-Australia Alliance,” Ariane dove into the exciting potential of collaboration between Australia and India. Both nations bring unique strengths to the table—Australia’s growing space sector and India’s extensive experience in space innovation—and together, they’re helping to shape a new era in space entrepreneurship. By fostering technical skill-sharing, funding opportunities, and easier market access, we’re breaking down barriers and setting the stage for start-ups to thrive in a truly global space industry.

In her second paper, Ariane talked about the incredible collaboration between Curtin University Binar Space Program and QL Space. Special thanks to Charlie Morley-Wong who co-authored the paper along with Ariane and Rajen Biswa, and Robert Howie and Dr. Phil Bland who helped in a successful partnership of the University and QL Space authors.
